Pervade technical staff took on the season 16 Hot Ones hot sauce lineup.

Hot Ones is a YouTube talk show which involves celebrities being interviewed by the host over a platter of 10 increasingly spicy wings. The first sauce in the lineup is relatively mild such as Sriracha, which has a rating of 2,200 Scoville units. The final sauce is The Last Dab and has a Scoville rating of 2,000,000+ units. After each wing, the presenter asks his participant an interview question. As the wings get hotter, the participant typically begins to display the effects of eating the spicier wings and the interview becomes less focused on the guest and more so the struggle to finish the wings. The participants are also allowed to counteract the effect of the wings with drinks of their choice.

The Pervade technical team took on the challenge at the Pervade technical centre in Daventry and played the role of presenter and participant asking each other difficult technical questions about the Pervade products. As the wings got hotter the questions got harder with nobody quite knowing whether it was the sauces or the questions causing the sweating.

Every member of the team finished the challenge, some faired better than others but none could be accused of finishing unphased (or even gracefully).
