On the 12th – 15th September 2023, Pervade Software exhibited at the Defence and Security Equipment International trade show at the Excel in London. DSEI is a biennial event that brings together national armed forces, governments, industry leaders and the entire defence and security supply chain from around the world. DSEI provided a plethora of valuable opportunities for networking, business engagements, knowledge sharing and discussions of the latest capabilities across the exhibition’s different zones.
DSEI 2023 was record breaking, with more visitors and exhibitors than ever before. The show featured 2,800 defence and security suppliers and 230 new exhibitors, bringing everyone together in one place. This year saw the addition of the Future Tech Hub, where the latest innovations in Cyber Security, AI and Digitalisation were on show.
Over the course of the four-day event, the Pervade team engaged with a variety of individuals and organisations wanting to know more about Pervade’s products, with lots of opportunities to establish connections and reconnect with familiar faces. Among the exhibitors, NIAXO organised for a community of SMEs across the Future Tech and ADS Pavilion to display an illuminate ‘Small Business Innovation’ sign on their stands. This attracted a significant number of individuals to the stand and enhanced visitor interaction with the SMEs.
Pervade Software’s main focus for this show was OpAudit, the supply chain auditing product that gathers and manages all evidence of compliance in a single system. In recent months, numerous third-party breaches have made headlines, highlighting that the organisation itself may not be the direct target for data retrieval. One recent incident involved the Metropolitan Police who suffered a breach involving the IT system of one of their suppliers. Organisations have to ensure that their suppliers adhere to certain standards to mitigate the risk of breaches and OpAudit is a great way in which to do this.
The Pervade team thoroughly enjoyed their exhibitor experience at DSEI 2023 and look forward to participating again in 2025.
