On the 12th – 14th March 2024, Pervade Software exhibited at Security and Policing held at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre. Organised annually by the Home Office for over four decades, this event stands as the singular ‘closed’ event of its kind, bringing together UK suppliers, government departments, police services, and agencies from the UK and overseas. At its core, Security and Policing serves as a hub for unveiling innovative cutting-edge technology and discussions surrounding pressing security challenges across the world.
Security and Policing 2024 had a record-breaking attendance of over 8,700 attendees across the 3 day event and over 350 exhibitors. Among them was the Pervade Team, and alongside them was the National Intelligence Supervisor from the Police CyberAlarm National Team and IASME’s Head of International Development. It was invaluable having them present on the stand representing their organisations that actively utilise Pervade’s products. Their endorsement served as a powerful testament to the effectiveness and relevance of Pervade’s solutions in addressing the challenges being faced by thousands of organisations.
Central to the meaningful discussions were Pervade’s supply chain solutions OpView and OpAudit. OpView which powers the Police CyberAlarm scheme and OpAudit which is the system behind the Cyber Essentials scheme, both gained significant attention. Prior to the event, Pervade’s CTO Jonathan Davies wrote an insightful article for ADS, delving into the escalating threat of supply chain attacks within cyber security, where this trend may have originated, and how it’s being tackled. This piece provided a framework for engaging conversations with visitors and delegates, highlighting the crucial role Pervade’s products play in mitigating such threats.
The Pervade Team thoroughly enjoyed their exhibitor experience at Security and Policing 2024 and look forward to exhibiting again in 2025.
